CATHERINE SALLOUX

Therapist for Individuals

About Me

I am a person-centred BACP registered therapist working with individuals, both adults and young people, who have experienced a range of issues including depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma and self-esteem challenges.

I came to counselling after 25 years working in business, often in high stress environments, so understand the pressures and demands of modern living.  As a counsellor I have worked with various organisations including GP surgeries, trauma & abuse charities and schools, alongside my own private practice.

In our sessions together I will offer you complete acceptance, honesty and empathy. I will be by your side as you explore experiences and feelings in a safe, non-judgemental space.

I will follow your lead, and we will work to your goals, at your pace. Where appropriate I will offer resources to process your experiences. I hope to build your wellbeing, resilience and self-acceptance to help you achieve resolutions and feel differently about yourself and your relationships.

FUN FACT: In my downtime, I love to do yoga and walk my dog Milo!

You can talk to me about:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • All forms of Abuse
  • Trauma
  • Self-harm
  • Stress
  • Relational issues
